Blueberry Banana Kale Smoothie

When I came home from my spin class today, I was craving one of my basic smoothies. I love to mix greens with fruit in my smoothies because you really don’t taste the greens (not even the raw kale which I used in this smoothie). It’s a simple way to get some greens without fussing! I always add a tablespoon of ground flax seeds and a bit of Stevia to my smoothies too!! I am partial to Whole Foods’ 365 brand of Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk. One cup has only 40 calories and less than 1g of sugar.

BLUEBERRY BANANA KALE SMOOTHIE

Serves 2

Ingredients:

1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

1 TBSP ground flax seeds

1 serving of Stevia Extract (45 mg)

1/2 cup blueberries

1/2 banana

1 generous handful of raw kale (ripped off the stems)

1 cup of ice

Directions:

Blend all the ingredients in a blender (I use the Vitamix). Divide into 2 glasses. Serve immediately and enjoy!!

I bought a Jack La Lanne’s Power Juicer Ultimate. It comes with two recipe books to make juice and the other how to use the pulp.
Well my books are in spanish and therefore I can’t use them. i can translate however, having those 2 recipes books in english would be the ultimate. I am enjoying the juicer very much.
Is it possible to send me the recipes in English?
