Snack Alert…Justin’s Nut Butters and Peanut Butter Cups!!!!!

Justins-Natural-Hazelnut-Butter-Chocolate-894455000490While I was shopping at Whole Foods yesterday, a representative from Justin’s Nut Butters was there handing out samples of their nut butters and peanut butter cups. Before I tasted any samples, I asked the “rep” if the samples were vegan. She said that all the nut butters were vegan except the “honey” flavors which were clearly marked. Also, the dark chocolate peanut butter cups were vegan but the milk chocolate ones were not. Since my older son likes “Nutella,” I asked her which one was most like “Nutella” to which she replied “the Chocolate Hazelnut Butter Blend.” So I tried samples of the “Chocolate Hazelnut Butter Blend” and the “Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups”. My first thought was that they were delicious!! My second thought was that they were blogworthy!!

And who doesn’t enjoy a great nut butter snack or peanut butter cup once in a while? The “Justin’s” products are “all-natural” containing many organic ingredients and one serving of the Chocolate Hazelnut Butter Blend has only 7 grams of sugar (organic evaporated cane sugar). I believe that these products are good snack choices for you and your kids and the nut butters also come in individual packet sizes for school lunches or travel. In addition to snacking on the dark chocolate peanut butter cups, I would choose to enjoy the nut butters on apple slices or brown rice cakes sprinkled with ground flax seeds on top. The organic “Lundberg Farm’s” brown rice cakes (lightly salted) are my favorite. Move over “Reese’s” and “Nutella”…here comes “Justin’s”!!!
