Last Minute Ideas For A Vegan Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and although it’s never been one of my major holidays (I like National Vegan Pizza Day), I thought I’d throw out some last minute gift ideas.

What about one of my vegan perfume recommendations such as Origins’ Ginger Essence or Kai perfume? You could buy a gift set containing the Ginger Souffle Whipped Body Creme or Kai’s scrumptious body butter. I even saw some great gift sets in Whole Foods by Pacifica containing my favorite Indian Coconut Nectar Body Butter.

How about one of the great new cookbooks which are out such as Betty Goes Vegan by The Shannons, Chloe’s Kitchen by Chloe Coscarelli or Kris Carr’s Crazy Sexy Kitchen?

Or better yet, how about a great vegan baking book such as Vegan Cupcakes Take Over The World by Isa Chandra Moskowitz and Terry Hope Romero with homemade Red Velvet Cupcakes to go with it? If you don’t want to buy the book (although you really should), you could find the recipe for these scrumptious looking Red Velvet Cupcakes on my Pinterest board for recipes or on the website Ann Arbor.

How about ordering some amazing brownies from Vegan Divas Bakery or some delectable treats from Sweet and Sara? I just love the Toasted Coconut Marshmallows and the Mocha Almond Biscotti!

How about some vegan candy which you can order from the Natural Candy Store?

Or some luscious vegan chocolate from Fine & Raw Chocolate or Allison’s Gourmet?

Check out this list of vegan wines on the website Care 2 make a difference . For an explanation of what makes beer, wine and other alcoholic beverages “vegan,” see my post entitled What About Beer, Wine and Spirits?

My last suggestion is a biggie, so make sure that the intended recipient of such a gift is ready for it!!! What about adopting a rescue dog from your local animal shelter for your loved one? Nothing represents unconditional love more than a furry friend!

My Beautiful Cat “DJ Sunshine”

There you have it…my short list of Valentine’s Day gift suggestions for a vegan day of love!!!

Kisses,

Debby
