Petit Vour Box #3

logo

mainslider_img_12This week, I received the last box of my 3-month subscription from Petit Vour, a monthly subscription service for delivery of vegan cruelty-free beauty products which come in “Sweet Beauty Mini” sizes. I really enjoyed receiving my boxes, and the anticipation of guessing what was inside with each delivery. If you like trying sample-size products before committing to full-sizes, I highly suggest that you consider subscribing to Petit Vour. It’s really an excellent resource for sampling and supporting some fine ethical companies.

Today, I will not only talk about the products I received in my third Petit Vour box, but I will tell you which products were my favorites from all three of them.

In case you were wondering, this is what the Petit Vour box looked like prior to and after opening…

photo-copy-81This month, I received this little card notifying me that this was the last box I would receive from my 3-month subscription.

IMG_1515My third Petit Vour box was the only one which contained a card listing the beauty products enclosed. I liked it.

IMG_1524This month’s “Sweet Beauty Minis” included the following products…

IMG_15281. A Natural Eye Pencil from Beauty Without Cruelty in the color Delft Blue.

Beauty Without Cruelty is an “up and coming” cosmetics brand which I really like. This soft kohl eye pencil came in a great blue color which I would describe as a “slate” blue, and I think it would look great on all eye colors.

2. Sumbody Soap

The small green pure handmade soap sample I received smelled and looked so good that I wanted to eat it. It is made with wholesome ingredients including olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, avocado, and aromatherapy essential oils. I loved the “lemony-lime” scent too! If you are into handmade soaps, I highly suggest that you try this brand.

3. Dr.’s Remedy Enriched Nail Polish

This was my favorite product in the box, and one which I will definitely buy again. This nail polish line was formulated by doctors, and is infused with wheat protein, tea tree oil, garlic bulb extract and lavender. It is free of formaldehyde, toluene and DBP. The color I received is called Rescue Red, and it is the perfect red color. I can’t recommend this nail polish enough.

4. Kimberly Sayer Of London Tangerine & Calendula Healing Night Cream

I am always on the search for great night creams, and this product is a good one. It is formulated for combination, oily and blemish prone skin, and claims to hydrate skin, and lighten dark spots and sun damage. I liked the texture and light scent of this product, and I will consider buying it in its full size.

5. Mun Aknari No. 1 Nighttime Dream Youth Serum

The flowery smell of this precious serum is divine. It is made of prickly pear seed oil, argan oil, and rose oil, and is meant to nourish, soften and smooth the skin. I have been using small dabs on the skin under my eyes, and I really like it. If you are attracted to essential oil products, I highly recommend this serum.

After trying all of the “Sweet Beauty Minis” in all three of my subscription boxes, my favorite products are…

1. Dr.’s Remedy Enriched Nail Polish

The Rescue Red color I received is perfection, and I like the “clean” ingredients in this line. It glides on beautifully, and it looks like a very fine nail polish. Perhaps a “Vegan Chanel!”

2. ACorelle La Beauté Au Naturel “R DE ROSE” Eau De Parfum

I am always on the hunt for great vegan perfumes, and the ACorelle Eau De Parfum is lovely. Since I don’t like to splurge on big bottles which I ultimately don’t use, I was grateful to receive this “Perfume that makes you feel good” as a sample.

3. Tsi-La “Fleur Sauvage” Ecological Eau De Parfum

Another beautiful scent, which I was happy to find along with the ACorelle Eau De Parfum.

4. Kimberly Sayer Of London Tangerine & Calendula Healing Light Night Cream

I am not a huge lover of “potions and lotions,” but I am always on the lookout for a great night cream. I really liked the light creamy texture and subtle scent of this one, and I plan to purchase more in the future.

5. Acure’s Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo & Conditioner

This “triple moisture repairing” formula, smells just like toasted almonds. Yum! I am a huge fan of Acure’s products, and I also love products made with argan oil. It’s no wonder that these Acure hair products are so appealing to me.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed a little peak inside my three Petit Vour boxes, and that you consider your own subscription.
